Samse Tea Estate near Kudremukh, Chikmagalur, karnataka

After traveling 62 KM towards Kudremukha from karkala, a beautiful tea estate is viewable on the road. It is Ganga tea depot at Samse. Samse is a name of the place where this tea estate comes. There is one Sri Sarva Siddhi Ganapathy temple in the middle of the tea estate. The idea of constructing and choosing the place is really a wonder. One will really feel that he is in the cradle of nature and God. There were lot of films were shooting and of-course this is an awesome place to take some time to enjoy the beauty of the nature and the magic of the God.
There is a tea point at the road side, before entering to the samse tea point (Akshaya Traders) i was just thinking that these shops are just to showcase the tea product which is growing locally, but i was wrong. We hadn't have the tea after the breakfast at Bajagoli and ordered a cup of tea. I was really surprised by the tea taste. We have taken some suggestion to make a delicious tea and we bought 1 KG of tea powder and we have tried at home and tasted the same that we had at Samse.

This place comes in kudremukh and the place name is Samse.

Kudremukh national park, kudremukh, Karnataka

This is one of my best experience on traveling to Kudremukh via karkala - kudremukha highway, it was a heavy rain on last night and morning presented with magical sunlight's which is hardly illuminating between the trees. All of the shots were taken in the moving vehicle that could have some less details. Kudremukh National forest spreaded through Chickmagalur, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts. After finishing the breakfast at bajagoli we have started traveling towards Kudremukh, the roads are fine and butter smooth, on the way we can see the group of monkey's sitting on the road and driving on these areas should be slow at 40 KM/ hour to save the wild animals which are wandering on the road. a continuous rain in a week tends to make some green paint to the environment, an every second you will turn your head to watch the beauty of the nature and become curious to catch the shots. On the way you will see the few temples and Gangamoola a originating place of 3 rivers (Tunga, Bhadra, Netravethi). Tourist visiting to the Lakhya dam is been prohibited since from last October 2014 due to some security reasons, we had the same journey in the month of September 2014 and we have visited Lakhya dam with the best shots. One will enjoy the beauty of the nature if he will start to travel in the morning on this road, unfortunately we didn't gave any stop on this road due to lack of time. I am sure i will travel again on this route to visit some of the remote places nearby kudremukh.
