This was a surprise visit for us, we were on the way to JogFalls, while traveling towards Sagara from Shimoga we have seen a board of
Hosagunda Temple. Lord Eeshwara incarnates as Sri Umamaheshwara including Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi, Sri Prasanna Narayana,
Sri Subramanya, Sri Ganapathi, Sri Veerabhadra, Sri Mahishamardini, Sri
Kanchikalamma. This is a thousand year old temple is been renovated by Sri
Sringeri Shankara peeta Sringeri under the advice of Sri Bharati Tirtha. Nothing
feels great unless God Eeshwara presence, currently the original statues is being
worshiped in a temporary temples because of the renovation. One should visit
this place which is the perfect match of nature and the God which gives Heaven
Feeling.
