Jog Falls, Sagara Taluk, Shimoga, Karnataka

It's a monsoon motor bike ride towards western part of Karnataka, we were started all the way from Bangalore to Shimoga, first place is the famous Jog Falls, looking at the heavy monsoon our enthusiasm was not disappointed and we know this could get some good snaps at last. Roads are pretty nice and conform with not much jerk but one has to be careful while driving in wet roads. Sharavathi River dropping from 253 m and is the second highest in India.
Heavy Monsoon was the reason that the local management closed the gate of walking path towards the Jog falls,  a lot of visitors were seen to catch the JOG Falls beauty, we were waited almost 40 min in view point to catch the perfect shot. moving clouds just as curtains to the falls, as every struggling step creates a remembering historical path. Every human being thinks in a different perspective to live his life. I felt no difference b/w my dreams and the visiting places which provoke me to share my thoughts as new  post. As every human being visiting the same places and sometimes chose a same subject to express his ideas but the final output will be awesome which gathers his own life aspects and things , we should not follow blindly any path which was already explored. I wrote the above statements only because one of my team mate asked the same question and I tried to replied like above.

  1. They are also called Gersoppa Falls and Jogada Gundi. There are two side from where we can view Jog falls. Jog Falls is created by the Sharavathi River falling from a height of 253 meter where I travelled before niagara falls tour from new york. The summer season begins in the month of March and continues till May. Summer season is not the best season to visit Jog falls. So don’t visit there during these months.
