A morning at karkala, Karkala taluk, Udupi District, karnataka

Early in the morning we have visited the Karkala taluk, Gomateshwara betta, Chaturmukha Basadi, and few other basadi in the taluk. There are 21 Basadi's in Karkala, that would require 2 days to complete, amongst 21 basadi Chaturmakha basadi is the famous in karkala taluk. The chaturmukha basadi has 4 identical entrances from four cardinal directions to garbhagudi. Apart from this basadi there are 3 more basadi's located in an equidistant. Sravana Bsasdi, kere Bsasdi, and one more near gomateshwara hill. Most of the places in karkala covered by rocky hills, and to point karkala is a very clean city, i have traveled number of places in Karnataka but hardly i had seen the clean cities. All of the bsasdi's and gomateshwara hill temple will open after 7:00 AM daily and the pooja will begin after 7:30 AM. from the top of the gomateshwara hill a magnificent view of beautiful landscape with the morning lights provides awesome scene, and is a perfect place to begin the day with best shots.

Kigga Shri Rishya Shringeshwara Swamy Temple, Sringeri, Chikmagalur, Karnataka

Kigga is just 8 KM away from sringeri west, Kigga is famous for Rishyashrunga shiva temple, sirimane falls  and lot more scenic all around. Kigga is also called as shrungagiri. Rushhya means Deer, Shrunga means horns, the name sringeri emerged from Rushyadshringa. Kigga Rishyashrunga temple is having Eshwara linga idol inside and is opened up-to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM onwards in the evening. This temple belongs to Karnataka government muzrai department. For staying sringeri will be the better side as it is just 8 KM in distance. Kigga is suitable place for trekking and one will came to know the nature scenes just around the temple. Do not miss to walk few meters around the temple where you will get some best snaps at the end. Kigga is a beautiful place for the family and also for trekking enthusiast there are lot more places around, one has to take time to explore the nature of Kigga.
