Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha
Kumara parvatha, a famous trekking place in Western Ghats of
Karnataka, It was a fearsome experience, we were started from Somvarpet to trek
kumara parvatha, we have hired an auto around 6:30 PM to reach Hegdemane which
is near Beedalli, we had our dinner at Nandish house a nearby home, food was very
tasteful and clean too, after the dinner we decided to stay at shantha
Mallikarjuna Temple, we slept inside the temple premises in our tent !, We
waked up around 4:30 AM and got freshen, filled water bottles and started to
trek 5:00 AM, we reached Beedalli forest office, we were lucky forest guards
were sleeping we passed without fee.. We stopped intermittently to take rest,
we have reached the view point around 7:00 AM we took beautiful shots of sunrise
at Somvarpet mountains. Passed further and we took left side path for pushpagiri,
finally we have reached Kumaraparvatha top, we spent some time there and
started to move on to catch some more shots of pushpagiri mountains range, it’s
a perfect colors of winter season, blue sky providing the perfect contrast to nature,
we met many trekking enthusiast on the way we were getting down, we reached Guddadahalli
forest office, forest guard was not checked our tickets while going there
filled the water bottles again, we have moved further to Bhattara mane, I was
felt bad looking at the too much house flies on food stuffs, later I took bread
and Jam instead of Bhattara mane food, I appreciate his effort on bringing all
those facility in the remote place I believe that it will not be useful unless have some
level of hygienic !, from Bhattara mane we were started our way back to Subramanya
to put end for the fantastic trekking experience.
